Shooting exclusively in black and white, I love to capture images from the monumental to the rarely seen, telling the story of places and people along the way.
From the bustling sidewalks of Seoul to the gritty side streets of Pittsburgh, exploring cities both new to me and often-visited is an indelible part of my artistic journey, and I continue to find much of my inspiration through travel; I am drawn to the raw beauty of decay and renewal, exploring the spaces between the liminal and the organic. Whether capturing sleek spires rising above the streets or quietly crumbling facades, I seek to convey the wildness and humanity at the core of an increasingly urban world.
Raised by a family of creatives in the towering pine forests of the Inland Northwest, I am currently based in Asheville, North Carolina – a resilient city full of joy, art, inspiration and community that I am proud to now call home.
